We offer valuations for insurance or probate purposes with a starting fee of £90 and £60 for each additional item sent.

Kemps Ltd. work with a team of internal and external workshops who specialise in jewellery repairs.
Jewellery repairs can involve work on gold, silver or platinum items. To list just a few of our repair services, we provide chain soldering, ring re-sizing, restored half shanks, claw re-tipping, re-modelling of jewellery to any design, replacement of missing stones and much more.
Our onsite watch specialist can help with minor watch repairs such as battery replacements. We have an external workshop who can also provide servicing of watches.

resizing
Ring resizing is available at Kemps, come to the showroom and we will size your finger and offer an estimated quote for the work. Resizing will take approximately up to 2 weeks.
bespoke jewellery
We specialise mostly in vintage and fine jewellery, however, if you are looking for a personalised item, we offer a range of bespoke design services. Whether you are looking to update an inherited heirloom, or have ideas for your dream engagement ring, we can assist you in the sourcing of stones from sapphires, to diamonds, rubies and more. In-house experts can also assist in the restoration of rings and bring them back to its original state.

Hand Engraving
All engraving at Kemps is done by hand, using experts in the art form. Our experienced engravers create work of the highest standard and follow the NAG style card, as seen below. The NAG card presents varying fonts, engraving styles and texts to choose from.
Various engraving projects can include engagement or wedding ring inscriptions, seals for signet rings and more. In terms of signet rings, clients can chose from traditional options such as their family coat of arms that is found at the top of the shield. Alternatively, modern designs can also be engraved, for example, initials, logos and symbols. All of which are possible, please simply arrive at the showroom with your design, or email as a pdf.
